The Reference and Stem Cell Laboratory (RSCL) provides specialized analysis services in the fields of erythrocytic and leuko-platelet immunology for people who may receive a stem cell transplant.
Cryopreservation service
The stem cell laboratory is responsible for the qualification, transformation, and cryopreservation of cord blood units and autologous peripheral stem cells.

The reference laboratory contains, among other things, a leuko-platelet immunology laboratory that provides HLA-typing services for:
- people awaiting a stem cell transplant;
- cord blood units;
- related and unrelated stem cell donors.
