Have you been told that you don’t meet the eligibility criteria and can’t give blood, whether temporarily or permanently?
Are you eligible to give blood, but prefer to contribute to advances in blood research?
If any of these situations apply to you, if you are 18 years of age or older and in good health, you can help us improve the quality of blood products intended for sick people and the efficiency of services offered to hospitals and the Quebec population.
What your registration involves
By joining the Blood Donor Research Registry, you may receive an invitation to participate in one of our research projects. In doing so, you will be helping to improve the efficiency of our operations and the safety of our blood products.
We are always looking for participants in our research and development work. Note that joining the Research Blood Donor Registry does not obligate you to take part in a research project. You can also remove your name from the Registry at any time just by giving verbal notice. Each request to join the Registry is handled confidentially.
