Recognition program for blood, plasma and platelet donors
The generosity of our donors is the lifeblood of our organization. That’s why we created a recognition program to celebrate the contribution and value of those who play a huge part in improving—if not saving—patients’ lives.
Celebrating your sense of sharing
Your kindness should be applauded, whether you’ve donated once or multiple times.
First-time donors are given a pin right after donating and receive a donor card in the mail. Frequent donors get to see their pin collection grow with each new milestone in their donation careers.
Donors also get a series of donor cards to celebrate big donation milestones, like a gold donor card in the mail after 100 donations.
From the 100th donation on, donors who reached a new milestone between August 1 and July 31 of the previous year will be invited to a donor appreciation evening celebrating their outstanding contributions. At the ceremony, donors will be awarded honorary certificates or trophies based on their achievements as a token of appreciation. Donors who manage to reach 1000 donations are given VIP status and enjoy an annual invitation to our donor appreciation evenings. These donors will also be invited to an exclusive celebration at our donation centre to honour their incredibly selfless service.
